Annually, the NatureWorks Monuments Program has made it possible for NatureWorks to donate a heroic sized, realistic bronze wildlife monument to the City of Tulsa.
Traditionally NatureWorks honors an individual who has promoted the conservation ethic of wildlife resources at a dinner the first Thursday in February. That person or group receives the NatureWorks Wildlife Stewardship Award, and the monument selected for that same year is erected later in the spring to honor that person or group’s voluntary accomplishments.
Patrons
of NatureWorks provide financial support for the
Monuments Program. Their names are included on
the bronze plaque with each monument. This program
is only possible with their generous support.
This
map is a portion of Tulsa, Oklahoma located
near the Arkansas River where many of the NatureWorks
Monuments have currently been placed. The monuments
are labeled in the order they were dedicated
to the City of Tulsa.
