ELIGIBILITY.
1.
Student must be in 10th, 11th or 12 grade.
2. Student must be attending school (public, private or home-school) in the State
of Oklahoma.
3. Student must not be an employee or an immediate family member of an employee
of the Sutton Center or the University of Oklahoma.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS (DOWNLOAD ENTRY FORM)
1.
Create and submit a presentation piece that tells an intriguing story about a current conservation topic such as water, air or soil quality, or wildlife conservation. The project should specifically focus on your personal interest and/or involvement in conservation; (This accounts for 2/3 of the total score.)

2. Choose ONE of the following format categories for your presentation:
a. Movie – Must be on VHS or DVD (Quicktime or Windows Media format) and include narration and/or music. Not to exceed 5 minutes in length.
b. Photo Essay – Photographs (2-12) mounted suitably for presentation.
c. Fine Art – May be a drawing, painting, sculpture or mixed media.
d. Advertising – Television commercial, poster, website or other medium.

3. Include a brief but detailed Project Essay (two pages or less) which explains why you chose your subject, describes the project and explains what impact, if any, your project may have on conservation. (This accounts for one-third of total score.)

4. Complete the attached official scholarship application and include it with your entry. Entries will be judged both on the presentation piece (two-thirds) and the project essay (one-third).

5. Be sure that your application is signed by your teacher (or if home-schooled, by a parent).
